At Kippax Greenfield Primary School, we are very proud to be members of our school community. We want all our children to feel part of our community and to represent our school. Wearing the school uniform helps us to do this. Children are expected to wear the following uniform

Our School’s Uniform

• A navy blue or jade green jumper, sweatshirt, cardigan or fleece top with the school logo or plain
• A white shirt (preferably short sleeved) or white, jade green or navy blue polo t-shirt with the school logo or plain
• Navy blue or black trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore
• A navy blue/green and white checked dress (summer)
• Black shoes, boots or plain black trainers
• Shoes should be flat and appropriate for school. Your child should wear shoes that they can do up independently and which do not prevent them from running in the playground. For health and safety reasons, sandals and heeled shoes or boots are not appropriate for school.
• Kippax Greenfield Primary School’s logo has recently been updated. Uniform with both versions of the logo are acceptable.

Our School’s PE Kit

All children at Kippax Greenfield Primary School will take part in PE every week and these will be either indoor or outdoor sessions. All children must and wear:

Indoors

• Children should wear house colour (please contact the school office for further details) or white t-shirt
• Navy blue/black plain shorts, joggers or leggings
• Black slip-on pumps

Outdoors

• Children should wear house colour (please contact the school office for further details) or white t-shirt
• Blue tracksuit top
• Navy blue/black plain joggers or leggings
• Trainers
• Children will also require a water bottle – any clear plastic water bottle, labelled with their name

Swimming

• Pupils that attend swimming will need a swimming costume/swimming trunks/shorts and a towel. Bikinis or tankinis are not permitted

***Please note, in the interests of making uniform affordable, there is no requirement to buy items with the school logo on them, however school colours must be adhered to.***

Children will also require a water bottle – any clear plastic water bottle, labelled with their name.

Jewellery in school can raise many problems, so only the following items are allowed: watches, studs for pierced ears and items which are required by a religion. Cosmetics including nail varnish and bright coloured hair should not be worn. Headbands should be as plain as possible.

To reduce lost property, please clearly mark all clothing, bags, bottles etc with your child’s name. There is a lost property box. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to an individual’s property.
