Behaviour Management

We have recently reviewed our approach to behaviour management in order to move to a Rights Respecting School, upholding the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. We have three school rules (or laws) that help us uphold the rights of everyone in school.

We have charters in each classroom and on the playground. These make the rights of the child a real and meaningful guide to action on a day-to-day basis. The charters develop a sense of ownership of and act as the ‘social glue’ which binds everyone in our school community together.
