Pastoral Care

Excellent relationships are a particular strength of our school. They are built on our school value of respecting each other’s rights, underpinned by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The safety, health and wellbeing of our children underpin everything we do at Greenfields. Our Learning Mentor, Special Needs Co-ordinator, Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher oversee the care and concerns of all our children.

The older children are the key to supporting our ethos of good relationships. Class 6 are ‘buddies’ to children as they start in Class Reception, they also lead playground games, organise playtime equipment and referee sports and are leaders on our house days. (See section All About Us: Houses)
